Leianna & John Highlight

It’s always exciting for us to be able to film at a new venue.  So when John & Leianna told us that their wedding would be held at the Turnip Rose Grand Newport Plaza we were thrilled.  As they advertise it is all about the service and it makes your wedding day extra special in such an amazing setting.

One of my favorite parts to this particular wedding was the photo booth sessions.  The pictures were hilarious.  Even the guest that you wouldn’t expect to let loose and dress up in the neon colored boas and fedoras for the photos; like grandma and grandpa.  It shows how fun the entire wedding party was and what a great time they all had.

Put so well in the maid of honor toast, Leianna’s sister couldn’t have said it any better when describing the love that John & Leianna have for one another.  Both being geologists, meeting at school.   “John, you’ve been a rock for my sister.  Which is a good thing because my sister LOVES rocks!  In fact, when Leianna was 5 years old she wanted to be a rock when she grew up.  So today Leianna married her rock”.

So here you have it, John + Leianna.

Eydie and Robert’s Save The Date

We had an extremely memorable opportunity to film Eydie and Robert's Save the Date video memorial weekend.  To be able to film in the actual spot that Robert first proposed to Eydie makes this moment so special and to put it all to their song, Hey there Delilah by the Plain White T's.  You couldn't find a better spot than the San Clement Pier along the train tracks with the sun setting and waves gently rolling up the beach.  We are so proud of the story that came across in the video and was able to see the photos that Joe Broccardo was able to capture from Broccardo Photography We were also blown away by how happily in love Robert and Eydie are together.  On September 5th The OC Wedding Pros; Joe Broccardo, DJ Todd with E Mobile Music and ourselves are set to cover Robert and Eydie's wedding at the Chart House.  If you haven't been to the Chart House, you need get a reservation and enjoy the incredible view overlooking the Dana Point Harbor.  So sit back and enjoy Robert and Eydie's story of how they met and their walk into the sunset together.

A New Look at Todd + Jennifer’s “Save the Date”

We posted Todd + Jennifer’s “Save the Date” video a while back but wanted to share a new edit.  Sometimes audio can be the redheaded stepchild to the production industry, getting under appreciated for actually being one of the most emotionally connecting attribute.  To fit our style and vision of HD Wedding Pros, we re-edited Todd + Jennifer’s Save the Date to a different song for our website.

As with all of our clients we like to work within their parameters for the song that characterizes them as a couple.  In this case a new song leads to a different feeling, faster cuts, and a different film all together.  I love this song anyways, Hey, Soul Sister by Train, whenever I hear it I can’t help from tapping my foot and letting my heart sing. Storytelling is a big part of what we do here, with the combination of cinematography and editing we are able to capture the moments and imagery that make you shine.

Also a very big shout out and thanks to Joe Broccardo, if you are ever in need of a photographer he is definitely the man to call upon.  Check out his stuff at http://broccardophoto.com/, it’s worth taking a peak at.

Why Choose Video?

I have noticed that with the bad economy brides have been choosing to cut several things from their weddings. One being video.
Professional videography saves and protects life's most precious and beautiful moments--as they actually happened. And what is more important to hold precious than the sights and sounds from the most important day of your life--your wedding day! Because the event goes by so quickly, capturing all of the activities, your ceremony and reception, on video will mean your wedding will be preserved for you and your family now, and most importantly...for all the generations ahead.
How important is a professionally-produced wedding video? Suppose a friend told you they had in one hand a book of professional photos of the day your grandparents were married, and in their other hand a professionally-produced video of that same day, in full color, with stereo sound, but that you could only choose one to view  keep as a family heirloom. Which would you choose? Today, thanks to new developments in digital technology and the advanced skills of professional videographers like us, your choices in professional wedding videography are unlimited!
Only video (and now DVD) will allow everyone to relive your wedding day as it actually happened to see you walk down the aisle, to hear your voices as you exchange vows and rings, to hear and see the toasts, the music, your first dance at the reception...and the chance to preserve the complete story of your wedding. This wasn't possible in the past.
Even today, you have only one chance to be sure your wedding day is professionally captured....just one chance to be sure all of the emotions, the love and laughter are preserved for you to share again and again. Today professional videographers have become as natural a part of the wedding as the photographer.
Look for all inclusive packages that vendors offer. We here at HD Wedding Pros work closely with other wedding vendors such as photographers like Joe at Broccardo Photography or DJ’s like Todd with Emobile Music. We are all Professional Wedding Vendors who have dedicated our work towards making your wedding day the most special and memorable day it can be. Check out our Contact Us page for more vendor links or visit www.TheOCweddingpros.com  and www..orangecountyweddingcenter.com/wedding_vendors.html for more info and other great professional wedding vendors.
